76th Stuttgarter Fruehlingsfest, Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Cannstatter Wasen, 19 April - 11 May 2014 daily 12:00am to 11:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays until 12:00pm. The biggest spring-festival in Baden-Wuerttemberg with the most modern funfair operators, numerous stands with foods, lottery ticket sellers, earthy beer tends and the traditional Kraemermarkt and French Village.
Stuttgart Wine Village, Stuttgart, Schillerplatz, Marktplatz, Kirchstrasse, 27 August to 7 September 2014 daily from 11:00am to 11:00pm, Thursdays to Saturdays until 12:00pm. During the Wine Village time Stuttgart becomes a winelover's paradiese. Wines from Baden and Wuerttemberg vineyards are served inside charmingly decorated village bowers and Stuttgarts restaurateurs serve Swabian specialities like "Bubespitzle", "Spaetzle" and "Maultaschen".
169th Cannstatter Volksfest,
Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Cannstatter Wasen, 26 September - 12
October 2014, daily 12:00am to 11:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays until 12:00pm.
More than 320 operators provide seventeen days of entertainment and
catering. At the Volksfest you will find the most modern funfair
operators, numerous stands with foods, lottery ticket sellers,
earthy beer tends and the traditional Kraemermarkt. Some
highlights are the big music fireworks show on October 12 from 9:45pm and the
historic Volksfest procession with historic groups and decorated
carriages from downtown Stuttgart to the Cannstatter Wasen on
September 28 from 11:00am.

Youth Hostel Stuttgart Neckarpark, Stuttgart, about 4 kilometers from the centre and near some cultural and sports complexes like Cannstatter Wasen, Mercedes Benz Museum and Hans-Martin-Schleyer Hall.

See the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim, Mercedesstr. 100. Opening Hours: Tuesday through Sunday 9-6, closed on Mondays. The museum displays the complete history of the automobile from the very first car to the latest high-tech vehicle.
An other very interesting museum in Stuttgart is the Staatliches Museum for Naturkunde Stuttgart. It is a paleontological museum with a big collection of dinosaur figures and other fossils. The museum is located near the zoological garden "Wilhelma" in two buildings (the Loewentor Museum and the Museum Schloss Rosenstein) in the Rosenstein-Park in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. Kids love this museum and in front of the museum is a big playground in the Rosenstein-Park.
