The quality and enjoyment of life, there are institutions like the "Wilhelma", Germany´s only zoological and botanical garden, many parks, landscaped areas, gardens, forests and vineyards as well as a unique natural treasure: 22 million litres of spa water which gush from 19 different underground springs each day. With part of this liquid treasure, the largest in Western Europe, being tapped to supply three mineral baths.

Stuttgart Christmas Market ("Christmas Magic"), Stuttgart, Marketplace, Kirchstreet, Schillerplace, 25 November - 23 December 2009, daily 10:00am to 9:00pm, Sundays from 11:00am.
Advent, Advent - a little light is burning. It's time once again for the Stuttgart Christmas Market. Measured by the length of the market stall frontages and the sale bowers, it is the largest and one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe. Christmas tree decorations and nativity figurines and the enticing aroma of mulled wine and tasty grilled sausages put people in the Christmas spirit year after year.

See the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim, Mercedesstraße 136. Opening Hours: Tuesday through Sunday 9-6, closed on Mondays. The museum displays the complete history of the automobile from the very first car to the latest high-tech vehicle.

An other very interesting museum in Stuttgart is the Staatliches Museum for Naturkunde Stuttgart. It is a paleontological museum with a big collection of dinosaur figures and other fossils. The museum is located near the zoological garden "Wilhelma" in two buildings (the Loewentor Museum and the Museum Schloss Rosenstein) in the Rosenstein-Park in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. Kids love this museum and in front of the museum is a big playground in the Rosenstein-Park.
